Volume II will next cover the 11th Airborne's historic activities surrounding the surrender of Japan including how the Angels were the first Allied unit to land on Japan before they formed General Douglas MacArthur's Honor Guard, protected Allied dignitaries for the Surrender Ceremony and even delivered the Instruments of Surrender to President Truman himself.
